Over the last 40 years, Cindy Hudson has worked closely alongside her husband David. Together they have shaped a long, diverse, creative journey. From grass roots level this partnership has spanned their careers in entertainment, Art, music, facilitation, mentoring and cultural capability. She is a co-founder of Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, which remains Australia’s longest running cultural theatre work. Cindy worked over many years in Tjapukai’s marketing, Front of House management, financials, retail and event management. She was also tour-manager for David throughout these years; working regional, domestic and international tours. Music being the central focus of both their lives, Cindy co-produced over 30 album recordings with David. She established and maintained a retail business in Cairns at the Pier Marketplace and founded Didgeralia, a multi-faceted creative business, in 1996. She and David have moved into delivering Cultural Capability programs with private, corporate and government groups. Cindy is proud to be part of this cultural journey that has been her and her husband’s life’s work.
