David Burton is an award-winning writer from Queensland, Australia. Lazarus Won’t Get Out of Bed was his first professionally produced play in Brisbane, which is available through Playlab. Since then, David wrote April’s Fool, which toured nationally in 2012 and was published by Playlab Press. His other works include Orbit and St. Mary’s In Exile, Hedonsims’s Second Album and The Landmine is Me (both co-written with Clarie Christian), all are available through Playlab. He’s also written many works for Queensland Music Festival and The Grin and Tonic Theatre Troupe. His books for young adults include the award-winning memoir How to Be Happy and the mystery novel The Man In The Water.
