Harry Fritsch

Harry is a creative and professional writer who has applied his craft across a variety of literary mediums and genres. Having fostered a love of the written word from a young age, Harry graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Creative and Professional Writing) in 2018.

Since then, his works have been published in the drabble anthology Sideshow Alley, the steampunk short story anthology Age of Artifice from Dragon Soul Press, and the Queensland Writers Centre RightLeftWrite competition for July 2022. He was the editor for the short story collection Seasons of Love by Virag Dombay in 2021 and has contributed to various entertainment media websites over the years, including WellPlayed, The Creative Issue, and Goomba Stomp.

Harry’s love of theatre and educating young people culminated in him becoming an assistant facilitator for Room to Play Kids. Here, he has helped nurture young creative minds to express themselves, build lasting connections, and tell memorable stories on the stage.

Dear Adults… is Harry’s first playwrighting credit. Alongside his co-playwright, Virag Dombay, he revelled in threading together the incredible stories, opinions, and thoughts of today’s youth to form a piece of work that provides necessary commentary on the past, while promising a better future. Giving a platform for youths’ voices to be heard has been one of the true highlights of Harry’s career as a writer and creative.
