Madeleine Border is a Brisbane theatre maker, performer and writer. She is a co-founder of Yours Sincerely, who were participants in Backbone’s 2019 Residency Program. This residency led to a performance of their new work This Fantastic Plastic Planet, for the Fake News/Dumb Views Festival, alongside a twenty metre whale skeleton installation made from found plastic. She was a Young Playwright-in-Resident with Playlab Theatre for 2019, working on a text titled Eyes Closed, Mouth Open, and she is currently participating in Playlab Theatre’s Incubator Program for 2020. After completing he undergraduate program majoring in Drama and Political Science, she graduated from a Masters of Writing, Editing and Publishing at the University of Queensland in 2019.
