One More Hour by Mary Anne Butler

THEMES: Climate Change, Mortality and Companionship
LENGTH: 90 Minutes
SUITABLE FOR: Senior Years & Adults

Three dogs and their owners face the strange, new world of the apocalypse.

Mary Anne Butler‘s One More Hour is quirky, dark and hilarious. It hurls Australia’s lack of climate change policies under the spotlight; drawing the conclusion that Dogs in power would probably do a better job.

One More Hour is about the last hour we have living on this earth.

Set in a post-apocalyptic future, after climate change has wrought its full fury onto Planet Earth, One More Hour tells the story of three Dogs – Fate, Chance and Hope – who each try to lead their humans to safety in a fast-disintegrating world.

One More Hour was first produced by the University of Wollongong premiering at UOW Performance Space, University of Wollongong on the 16th of May, 2018.
