David Knijnenburg‘s Hitchcock & Herrmann is an entertaining and engaging comedic tell-all of what the real-life working relationship between famous director and filmmaker, Alfred Hitchcock and Bernard Herrmann, the score composer for many of Hitchcock’s hit films, was really like.
SYNOPSIS
Hitchcock & Herrmann traces the decade-long collaborations between these two geniuses in an attempt to uncover why at the height of their creative talents they parted company and never worked together again. Through a chronological examination of their films, the highs and lows of their creative relationship is explored and further punctuated by excerpts from Herrmann’s scores.
