When film student Naomi begins work on a documentary featuring a group of Year 12 students, she has no idea that the rippling impact of one shared experience is about to be caught on film.
No one has seen Year 12 student, Sophie all week. Her sister is panicked, her friends don’t know what to do, and Sophie’s boyfriend seems to have disappeared too. With tension running high and Naomi around to capture all the action, everyone comes to realise that one experience can leave you ‘something like lost, or something like found’.
Originally commissioned and performed at Tantrum Theatre’s Senior Ensemble at The Playhouse Civic Precinct, Newcastle 2009.
"It’s brilliant... Everyone struggles with pain, identity and internal pressure. As a young person what may seem a minor issue to one might be the end of the world for another"
