SYNOPSIS

In a Heart Beat follows the story of Jamie, a frustrated teenager with big ideas to leave his school and family all behind at the very first chance he gets. An outsider in his town, Jamie is suddenly hurtled into a journey beyond his known parameters.

Created by Playwright Jo Turner and Director Susanna Dowling as part of STC’s Theatre in Communities program, the play is a coming of age story made in Armidale for the New England Community.

PRODUCTION HISTORY

In a Heart Beat premiered at the Hoskins Centre, Armidale on October 9, 2012, featuring a cast of both professional actors and local performers.
