It is the end of Grade Ten. Fifteen-year-old Rodney and a group of friends decide to celebrate by throwing a paddock party. With the help of two casks of cheap wine, a telling game of truth or dare, and a dead canary, the group eagerly relinquish their childhood only to be confronted with the realities of adulthood.
Juice was first produced as part of the Brisbane Arts ‘Early Start’ program, and has been performed at schools throughout Australia.
The teaching notes for Juice feature six lesson plans that provide activities and insight into the process of devising a work.
"Juice is confronting, funny, sad and a truthful representation of modern teen issues."
