Description

Dear Adults is based on real-life stories and perspective from young people aged 6-18 and shares the ideas, concerns, and thoughts of young people about the world. Teaching artist and playwright, Virag Dombay will share how to use improvisation and devising techniques to develop Theatre of Social Commentary and student-led responses to community issues, using Dear Adults as an example.

DRAMA (Year 7/8) 

Combine the elements of drama in devised and scripted drama to explore and develop issues, ideas and themes (ACADRM040)

 

Perform devised and scripted drama maintaining commitment to role (ACADRM044)

 

Analyse how the elements of drama have been combined in devised and scripted drama to convey different forms, performance styles and dramatic meaning (ACADRR045)

 

ENGLISH (Year 8)
