Description

Alexander Bayliss’ Squad Goals is an irreverent comedy about rebellion, self-sabotage, and truly awful relationship decisions.

Something’s wrong with Lily. She’s quieter than usual, lethargic, and temperamental. She’s just not herself, and her netball teammates think they know what it is. Now the under 16 Fairfield Falcons have found themselves facing the one opponent they never imagined; their Goal Keeper is possessed. Their undefeated season now in jeopardy, the girls decide to face their unknown foe alone. Hidden in the bushland behind their home court, they prepare themselves for an exorcism. But when their faith in each other is put to the test, demons aren’t the only things brought out of the shadows and into the light.

PRODUCTION HISTORY: Squad Goals was first produced by Share House Theatre Company premiering at the Lumen Room, Metro Arts on Thursday 28th February 2019.
